To lock a chat go to Settings->Privacy and Security->Passcode Lock and enable it. Telegram Premium users will now be able to add animated emoji status on the app. This custom status will replace the Premium Premium Badge in the chat list, in profile and in groups. Since Telegram stores chats and files on a remote server instead of your device, you can also access everything (except secret chats) from the web. Tap a message and choose Pin to keep it at the top of the chat, where everyone can easily reference it. Another useful feature is “send without sound”. Recipients will get a notification as usual, but their device won’t make sound, even if it is in general mode.
